- How did the papier-mâché head of Carly Beth become sentient? At least in the episode, we see it smiling (via Synchro-Vox) even before she visits the store with the mask, so it can’t have been the mask that made it happen. If it’s due to being a symbol of love, does this mean all symbols of love possess some degree of sentience as well?
