Hold on. The shrinking potion merely, well, shrinks down Lucas to ant size, but it mutates Beals into a hideously disfigured imp? Did I miss something?
Maybe where the potion's inserted, as well as how much is administered, plays a part in the effects?
Perhaps it's also due to it possibly being mixed with wasp venom.
If I remember right, they gave 'im a combo of the growth serum (which returned Lucas to normal size) and the shrinking potion (which shrunk Lucas).
Shouldn't they have intervened?
How does the neighborhood, including Lucas' family, NOT notice that the mass bullying was frequently happening right on Lucas' property?
