- How was Sara able to pilot the teacher's Strain in the first episode?
- She swapped in her MIMIC. You can see it in a container on her back a few shots earlier. It makes sense, as Reasoners are shown as being trained to always remove theirs from a damaged STRAIN.
- In Episode 12, just how the hell did Sara ram her STRAIN through the Libertad's hull without killing Deacon, Becky, and Emily? Doing so should have decompressed that entire corridor.
- Why exactly did Sara change her surname to "Cruz?"
- She changed it to hide Her true identity, that of the sibling of a known traitor. Lottie would have never been so friendly if She knew from the start.
- Thanks, and one thing, since the hangar where Melchi and Carmichael are stationed is full of spare parts, why couldn't they outfit Ram-Dass with extra armaments?

- Sub-light speed, anyone?
- Being "swept away" in sub-light requires space to be viscous.
- While oddly named and with slightly-fudged properties, it's fairly clear that "sub-light speed" refers to relativistic speeds.
- Until the last episode, where consistency goes out the window. (Lead is stranded 100 years in the future, only to be picked up anywhere from 30 seconds to a few days later; her friends have only aged 20 years at the very most.)
- If they followed her in sublight, which they would have had to, they wouldn't have aged that much either.)
- Dickon mentions that the school has an Engineering division where Melchi teaches classes when he's not in the hangar. But we only see four styles of Basion uniform: Reasoners, Gambee pilots, medical students, and bridge crew. Where do the engineers fit?
