Headscratchers / 7FATES: CHAKHO

  • How do Beom Hunters get the anti-Beom power?
    • How does it work? Does it tamper with the senses and minds of enemies? Distort time and space? Is it fueled specifically by Anti-Beom hate or simply mental concentration?
    • It seems to be emotionally powered, but the Tiger Butterfly doesn't have the glowing eyes.
    • Maybe they use high-tech weapons?
      • This anti-Beom power seems to come only from the Chakho, aka. what makes them special (possibly in a The Chosen One way) enough to survive Beom attacks that literally no one else should be able to. Other humans just use regular weapons.
  • What have the Gom tribe (the humans done in the past? It was simply said that they betrayed the Beom and left them in a place of darkness.
    • Apparently, Tabae banished ALL of the tribes except for the Gom to the World of Shadows.
    • How come the CHAKHO have the same past lives? What is making them be reincarnated over and over again?
    • What the heck are those bulging meat things hanging on the walls of the prison in Episode 16?
      • Portals to another world?
      • Nope, they're Hatchers for another species..
  • This one really pissed me off and was nothing but mean-spirited plot convenience. When the Tiger Butterfly was bullying Zeha, one of the members held Haru, a powerful immortal deity, back from trying to defend his apprentice with just a knife. How???
    • 3 things:
      • A very important factor is that the guy holding Haru at knifepoint doesn't threaten to kill him, but to have Zeha killed if Haru resists.
      • Perhaps not as important, but helpful to consider, is that Haru is magical and powerful but not invincible note - his combat abilities aren't as focused on countering being held at knifepoint by surprise. He's also shown to have been taken off-guard by (or at least to not have expected) not just the guy threatening him directly, but the very fact that a group of Beom hunters would beat up a wounded hunter like Zeha and resort to tactics like the knife thing.
      • Before this happened, Haru had been intentionally standing on the sidelines to assess Zeha's skills and determination. Given the way he approaches Zeha afterwards and how he simply explains why he didn't get involved, he very likely decided (given all of the above, but especially the threat to Zeha) that it was best to let this pass as part of this assessment, and that he might as well use it to further convince Zeha to let him train him. He's kind of a benign dick in that way.
