The SCP-008 Infected Doctor
How did he get infected? The chamber containing SCP-008 was sealed after the incinerate/irradiate failsafes...failed due to interference by either SCP-079. Dr. Maynard, or Agent Skinner. There is no record of anyone entering the chamber, nor that the doctor was the one observing SCP-008's chamber when the containment breach occurred. Even if he went in there without any sort of log recording it, there were hazmat suits in the yellow zone (CBRN speak for an area used to decontaminate). Any medical personnel who were aware of SCP-008 (thus likely to try and recontain it) would have taken proper protective precautions to prevent infection. If he was the victim of a patient infected by it, there is no evidence of that patient anywhere in the facility. It also is hard to figure out how he was infected when the medical bay is in the office zone, aka the place where experiments on dangerous SCP does NOT take place due to proximity to critical staff and lack of containment measures. This indicates that he was part of medical treatment staff, not the research staff.
