  • Why does Nadia think that she remembers Horse, the bum. Was this ever resolved?
    • Not really, but we do get a possible mundane explanation when we see that he's a former tech luminary, so they could've crossed paths in the industry or she could've watched a video of him giving a talk.
    • Given the heavy use of metaphors on this show, she probably thinks she recognizes him because he is a literal possible future for her, having worked in a similar field, dealt with similar drug problems, and was presumably unable to work through his problems, which has led him to be a Cloud Cuckoo Lander homeless guy. Nadia dies in many different horrific ways, but she is particularly disturbed after freezing to death with him, probably because it hits too close to home.
    • Personally I suspect that Horse is involved in all the time shenanigans. In season 1: he is directly involved in two of her deaths, and but every time Nadia does something kind for him, she receives a hint about what is going on (first she meets Alan in the same building as where she protected Horse's shoes, later she gives Horse shoes and the Krugerand and Horse drunkenly throws stuff on the ground, reminding Nadia where she's seen Alan the very first day). In season two: Horse literally calls Nadia by her mothers name Nora, and asks her strange questions like if she's waiting on the train, if she's gonna get on the train and sit down. Then when Nadia answers yes, he laughs at her and flips her off tauntingly. later he is one of the guides in what was called The Void, where Alan and Nadia get to talk to their family and let go of their past, basically acting as a sort of Ferryman of the dead (and even gets paid). At the end of the season, as Nadia walks to the memorial service, she and Horse cross paths again and he glances at her knowingly before walking off. I really suspect Horse knows more than he lets on.
