• What exactly is the status of Jason and Kelly’s relationship? When we first meet Kelly, she and Jason kiss passionately and spend an entire day out on the town. Yet Jason only ever refers to himself as “a friend” thereafter, and even Kelly seems indifferent to it. What's more, her brother Ian has no idea who Jason is when they meet in the climax. So are they a couple or not? The film can’t seem to make up its mind about this.
