• Where do Mrs. Bird and Q sleep at? The most logical answer is some suites off-screen, most likely at the same corridor as Portia's suite. However, if Mrs. Bird and Q sleep at a suite on Isla Esperanza, then why are their suites not on Lukas's computer where everyone else's suite are listed at? Furthermore, why doesn't Carla think about going through their rooms like she does to every other person's suite on the island?
• What happened to the culprit's black trench coat? The culprit planted the coat at Janet's suite in order to incriminate them, but what happened to the coat afterwards? The culprit is later seen wearing the coat by Carla at the cavern and during the flashback where the culprit kills Portia. How did the culprit get the coat back?
  • Turns out it's just a case of an Unreliable Illustrator. The Memory Story Murderer's Path shows Margot killing Portia without the trench coat. It's therefore likely that the culprit doesn't actually have the coat when seen by Carla at the cavern but is just drawn to have it to avoid giving them away.
• Why does Carla wait until the end of Chapter 1 to find out whose handwriting matches the handwriting on the threat note to Mrs. Bird she got at the beginning of the game?
  • This is made more puzzling by the fact that if Carla inquires more about Margot's memoir, Margot gives Carla an autographed version of her book with an entire handwritten message. Why didn't Carla notice any similarities between Margot's handwriting here and the handwriting on the note?
