As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • Hasn't the deployment of Reflection really only been delayed as opposed to stopped permanently? Yes, the virus rendered the Reflection nanites inert, but what's to stop more from being made, and the Shard can't possibly be the only place where the carrier signal can be broadcast.
    • There's a lot we still don't know about Reflection. Did the other Families of the Conglomerate know about the emotion control? If they did know, would they have objected to it? They wouldn't want all of Cascadia under specifically Kruger's control, after all. With power like that, he could sideline and enslave them too. Dr. Maera's objections also suggest that Reflection's emotional control aspect could be illegal even to the Conglomerate. Furthermore, we may not have the whole picture even now about what Reflection truly was. Kruger said it wasn't about control, but survival. He might just be lying to mask his own desire for power, but what if he knew something we don't? Some other threat to Cascadia? And then there's OmniStat. How did they learn about it? What's their interest in it?
    • Bottom line is that there's nothing stopping Reflection 2.0 from being created by KrugerSec, but now the criminal underground of Glass is onto it, and one thing they can all agree on is they do not want it happening. The other Families may also ban Reflection upon learning its true purpose (or maybe they were in on it already and that's a moot point). There's too many unknowns to say for sure.
    • Gabriel Kruger is also dead and it’s likely that Caitlyn doesn’t want to really revive it.
  • How did Gabriel Kruger fail to notice the drive that was just a few feet away in the middle of a brightly lit room.
    • In Elysium, he was busy dealing with the OmniStat agent, and thus was fully focused on him on the offhand chance he was faking death. In the finale, he was focused on negotiating with Faith, and left the room after having the Sentinels engage. It's only when his attention wasn't needed elsewhere that he was able to notice the drive. And in Elysium, the drive was out of his field of view.
  • So Noah doesn't want to give the Omnistat drive to the leader of a terrorist organization, but has no objections to giving it to the leader of a criminal syndicate?
    • Because it was the lesser of two evils. Rebecca Thane is not someone Noah trusts, and as far as we know, for good reason. Because of this, he can't be sure what she would end up using it for. Dogen is feared, but more or less a True Neutral, and though he could possibly end up using it for his own ends, his dislike of the Grid seems to indicate otherwise. It got the drive away from the Runners and out of their concerns.
      • It's worth noting that Thane's behind at least The Bauble explosion and potentially responsible for the one at The Shard.
