- Why is R.O.B. a playable character, instead of a more fitting character, like Koopa/Paratroopa, Birdo, Bowser Jr, or Toadette?
- A lot of track placements are plain confusing.
- For example, Luigi's Mansion does not belong in the Mushroom Cup, it should've been swapped with Delfino Square.
- And despite Waluigi Pinball being one of the longest and hardest tracks in the game, it's only in the Flower Cup. That should've been swapped with Mario Circuit, which definitely doesn't belong in the Star Cup.
- The retro track placements are better, but GCN Luigi Circuit and GCN Baby Park should've switched places too.
