• Wait... so, Patty is The Mole? So, she's been working for the "organisation" the whole time... If that's true, then why did Murdoch shoot her earlier in the season?? Surely the "organisation" would frown upon a valuable asset like a high-up government mole being killed...
  • This is Murdoch. Why do you think Patricia survived?
  • Exactly! Murdoc has THREE hostages, he doesn't need to take warning shots: he could kill Patty for real and still have Jack and Riley. He's an out-and-proud sociopath, so he didn't spare her out of mercy. Shooting to wound makes her look nice and innocent.

• If one agent being The Mole is grounds for dismantling the DXS and building a new organization from scratch, what are the consequences for a top official in both versions of the DXS being The Mole?
  • Nikki escaped, so there was a risk that she would reveal classified information on DXS. Patricia was arrested, and likely locked away where she wouldn't be able to communicate with anyone else from the organization, so there was minimal risk that she would reveal classified information about DXS.
• Why doesn't Mac know straight away when The Merchant realises he's in a simulation? The guy is counting off bird noises feet away from him, not exactly quietly. In fact, why don't the agents watching the video feed know something's up when he starts counting?
