• Yukino is suspended in time as a child because she overused her Gate of Ice in the distant past, but what was she using her gate for so strenuously that she reached such a point? It takes a lot of Gate usage for the Gate to turn on its user. Were there Invaders around in Japan 800 years ago for her to fight? Her personality seems so soft that it is hard to imagine she just went around causing blizzards for the hell of it, you know?
  • It's possible when Yukino was genuinely as young as she looks. She was more easily frightened of the world around her. Meaning she likely would have used her gate power often, in order to protect herself.
