The 1975 live-action series

  • Once per Episode Tracy gets their recorded message from Zero inside a wacky item and then at the end of the recording, gets warned that the message will self-destruct momentarily. Why does Tracy NEVER EVER think to throw the damn thing away?
  • The haunted castle that shows up in every episode: who owns that place? It has to fall under someone's jurisdiction. You'd think that the property owners or even the local government might just tear down the castle as it is constantly attracting ghosts.
    • You have to remember that Filmation was incredibly, incredibly cheap. With that in mind, it's probably not meant to be the same castle every time in universe, but they were too cheap or lazy to film anything new.
  • An episode has a ghost who's also a werewolf trying to steal a mystical amulet from the Ghostbusters. The thing is, this amulet can cure him of lycanthropy, which is why he wants it. Which means that for once the ghosts and the busters aren't at cross-purposes: if they'd worked together the werewolf would've gotten his cure, and the Ghostbusters would've learned what the amulet does and how to use it, allowing them to render other werewolves they face powerless.
