Headscratchers / DuckTales (2017) S3 E18 "How Santa Stole Christmas!"

• Could someone please explain how on Earth Doofus Drake is on the nice list?
  • Maybe having B.O.Y.D. around, his parents becoming more assertive, and being a Junior Woodchuck made him nicer?
  • It's entirely possible he wasn't and Scrooge sent coal and an invoice of his own accord, given that he wasn't exactly following Santa's plans at that point.
• How exactly was Scrooge going to enforce his billing for the coal? Scrooge might have some political sway as the richest duck in the world and he could have done it more for the principle of the thing, but America hasn't reached this level of corporatocracy (yet) that Scrooge could ever actually make the people he gave coal to actually pay for the coal he left in their homes. Not only that, but the bill is proof that he (or at least someone on his behalf) broke into their homes with the intent of profiting off of them against their will.
  • I half think the invoice was there simply for the sake of comedy given Scrooge never acknowledges charging people for it and instead all he talks to the little girl about is how he thinks receiving coal is better. Or, perhaps Scrooge didn't plan on enforcing the invoice and was just going to take whatever people were willing to give, like how some people pay for WinRAR despite not needing to.
