Headscratchers / Doctor Who: Supremacy of the Cybermen

  • The story is set after "Hell Bent" and is an explicit sequel to those events, yet Clara Oswald is never mentioned by/to anybody, even though — as explained in the What Happened to the Mouse? section — nearly everyone the Twelfth Doctor encounters has a vested interest in Clara. Ohila doesn't even scold the Doctor for his behavior when they meet, and the General doesn't even so much as chide the Doctor for shooting her previous incarnation, forcing a Gender Swap regeneration.
    • Perhaps Clara's already returned to Gallifrey and faced the raven from their perspective, which is all that mattered to them. Alternatively/in addition, maybe they've realized that THEY were the real villains of "Hell Bent" — they treated the Doctor despicably by not standing up to Rassilon while he was allowing the Doctor to be tortured, followed by wringing their hands over the Doctor justly (and rather mercifully) punishing him and his cronies. They also unjustly blamed him for behavior that stemmed from grave emotional trauma that no one could have come through mentally unscathed, refusing to acknowledge that it was time to Throw the Dog a Bone and perhaps help him get what he wanted (and all he wanted was Clara) in a safe way.
