Headscratchers / Doctor Who S31 E3 "Victory of the Daleks"

• Something's been bugging me, the non Paradigm Daleks are from the Medusa Cascade war right? This means that they were grown from Davros' cells. wasn't he a pure Kaled, or am I missing something? Why are they Impure?
  • Exactly; Davros is essentially still a Kaled by genetic heritage, whereas Daleks "evolved" and mutated into a particular form. The differences might be subtle, but given the Dalek obsession with purity it makes sense that they would be considered impure if they were grown from Davros's cells.
