Why is Mrs. Tweedy still Mrs. Tweedy?

  • Keeping your maiden name, sure. Keeping the name of your idiot first husband whose incompetence ruined everything?
    • It's just a very old English thing to do. You keep your married name even if you clearly hated your husband and basically used him as slave labor.
    • Maybe she also wanted to recycle some things from her old business. When people in academia get married, they don't change their names because it would be too confusing trying to sort out who wrote which articles. If Mrs. Tweedy didn't keep her name, it might have confused her old contacts and/or customers.
    • She also wants the public to think she's much more of a kind woman than she actually is (even in the first film, she had billboards of her chicken pies designed in that way). Openly complaining about her husband's "incompetence" or admitting she used him as slave labor would be a very great way to lose public support.

What happened to Mr. Tweedy?

  • Divorced by Mrs. Tweedy, mostly for a ruined farm and him pushing the door on top of her. Hopefully, he'll have a better life and job now that Mrs. Tweedy is out of his life.
  • Or Mr. Tweedy divorced her first for all the abuse he suffered under their marriage. He DID push the door on top of her after all.

Everything processed?

  • If the first step of being made into nuggets is to walk straight into a grinder, wouldn't that mean the nuggets are now full of bone, feather, beak, and metal from the mind control collar?
    • The grinder machine works the same as the pie machine from the first movie. Chickens go in, pies come out. Given how complex the pie machine was, it is likely that there is some unknown machinery we haven't seen that removes the bones, feathers, beak and metal, leaving only the meat to be cooked. Since the process machine is more advanced, it shouldn't be that surprising that the chicken was converted into breadcrumb-covered nuggets with none of the unneeded elements.
    • It’s possible there’s a mechanism that removes the collar before the chicken gets chopped up - it would make sense that they’d want to keep them to use for the next batch of chickens, rather than having to re make them each time the machine is used.

Dr. Fry's chicken costume

  • Why did Reginald Smith look stunned that Dr. Fry still had parts of his chicken costume on? Fun Land Farms is a (mechanical) chicken farm after all.
    • That doesn't necessarily mean that one of the CEOs will be walking around in a chicken suit, especially before an important meeting with a potential business partner.
