  • The Allosaurus and the Camptosaurus drawing is intended to show that predatory dinosaurs weren't mindless murder machines hell-bent on killing everything in their path. But it does raise the question on why the prey would even risk being close to a predator: whether the Allo is hungry or not, it would instinctively keep a safe distance away to be safe.
    • This actually does happen in real life, believe it or not. During times of drought, zebras and antelope will share water-holes with lions.
  • Some of the shrink-wrapped modern animals make no sense. It would be reasonable to think that a cat would be depicted without fur or ears due to those parts not fossilizing, but to depict them with every hole in their skull visible and their face completely lacking jaw muscles? Human or not, those paleontologists should at least know what a functional animal should look like.
    • It's really not too far off from many popular reconstructions of dinosaurs. These Maiasaura are a good example; they also have all of the holes in their skulls clearly visible and their jaw muscles missing.
