Funny / We Could Be Round Three

Go To

  • Even during the rougher weeks, the team challenges are always good for a chuckle.
    • During Week 3, each character is required to run a sack race across a "road" full of hardlight cars speeding to and fro. Almost every character wipes out in incredible slapstick fashion and those that don't find... unique ways of making their way across. Special mentions go to Tyzias and Rin - the former takes an agonizing forty five minutes to make it across without being hit and is described as being more or less juggled by cars the whole time. The latter guides Lala across and upon finding out that it won't be allowed to take her back in the same way, throws her across the road where she collides with Avenger and then lands perfectly on her feet. Miraculously, this is enough to count for a pass.
    • Week 4's challenge effectively amounts to giving one of the team members a makeover and Parker immediately snaps into action, completely in her element and turning Team Dazzle into a well oiled fashion machine... all except for Serizawa and Lala who both make attempts to sneak out and flee and who both have to be dragged back to take part in the challenge.
    • After being overshadowed by the previous week's events, Week 6 picks up with more slapstick - a real life sized game of Monkey Ball in which the characters are expected to roll down one of the mountains in the biome room. Ryoko flakes out of the challenge by immediately crashing her ball and faking injuries, Emma uses Monkey Ball speedrun strategies to pull off some absolutely heart stopping skips down the track, and both Lala and Avenger each lose control of their balls. Lala rockets down the track going "oyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo" the whole way and immediately has to run into the jungle to be sick afterwards and Avenger loses control of his ball so badly that he's bounced around the inside violently, breaks it open when he lands at the end of the track and ends up with a concussion.
"Master, I don't want to farm Gudaguda anymore..."
    • When tasked with putting together parties in Week 7, both teams immediately agree on making them anti-Jack parties and raid the Handsome Jack merchandise store in the mall to create piñatas and other insulting imagery of him.
    • Week 8 has no formal challenge as Jack has largely abandoned the game at this point but, realising they're no longer being observed, the survivors take the opportunity to destroy the Handsome Jack store with no risk of repurcussions.
  • Most of Jack's pettiest moments could go here, but special mention must be made of him parroting Lala's "lun" verbal tic in mockery and then when told that he's not allowed to imitate it, proceeding to sprinkle it into his speech across the the rest of the game purely to irritate her. It's exactly as cursed as it sounds.
  • While the Week 4 hallucination motive is mostly terrifying or sad, Gwen's reaction to it is mostly this, since she starts hallucinating text boxes and speech bubbles and believes that her powers are back, making her the only person who's actively cheerful about the motive.
