Funny / Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry

Go To

Given this is a Tom and Jerry movie, it is unsurprisingly there will be funny moments.

WARNING: Spoilers are left unmarked!

  • At the end of Gorthan's interview, he takes out a flashcard that reads "Hi, Mom". Doubles as a heartwarming moment.
  • While interviewing Dr. Professor, Biff inadvertently flips a switch that has the sign "Do Not Touch", activating the anti-matter generator. Dr. Professor attempts to turn it off, leading to him vaporized along with his car and the tent he was being interviewed in, leaving a crater behind. As for Biff and Buzz, they appear fine from the back but when they turn to the camera, they are burned at the front and their undies are exposed.
  • Early on before the Fabulous Super Race extends to the entire world, Biff Buzzard states it will end in Mexico... and points to Canada...
  • Soccer Mom having to wait an extremely long time to get help, only to escape herself.
  • Tom managing to split Australia in half.
  • J.W.'s assistant (Irving) reviving Tom through resuscitation, just for how weird it looks.
    • Also, when Tom regains consciousness, he immediately swats him away.
    • Even funnier is Buzz and Biff's talks about how the network has taken a liking to Tom.
  • When Steed Dirkly enters Mexico, he immediately destroys all the scenery.
  • Earlier in the film, Spike leaves the house to go to Borneo and gives Tom a weapon. Guess who lands on top of him in Borneo?
  • The kangaroo beating the crap out of Biff Buzzard, and also Tom later.
  • When Tom and Jerry fly their jets in the last leg of the race, the landmarks they fly past comically received significant damage. The only one not receiving such was the Leaning Tower of Pisa as it was simply straightened.
    • At Loch Ness, a bagpipe player in the foreground has his kilt blown off by the winds the jets picked up, revealing nothing underneath the kilt, with a four-leaf clover is covering his crotch. When the Loch Ness monster sees this, it becomes infatuated with the bagpipe player as he covers his crotch with his bagpipes.
      • The same thing happens with the Statue of Liberty, with the revelation of a two-piece swimsuit underneath her cloak. The statue then strikes a pose fit for the fashion runway, as Tom and Jerry briefly fly back to the statue, the cat whistling at her.
