  • When Darwin sneaks into Eliza's bag and she has to hide him from the other friend. Several close calls of him nearly being discovered.
    • Darwin shows up in the cafeteria Disguised in Drag. Adding onto this is "She's a Lady" playing in the background.
    • His cover is eventually blown when he accidentally starts a food fight in the lunch room. He is therefore forced to be left in the horse's barn.
    Darwin: Where's the bathroom?
    Thunder: You're standing on it!
(view to Darwin's feet sinking in horse manure)
    Darwin: AAAAH!!!!
  • How Debbie ends her parents’ phone conversation with Eliza while she’s at Boarding School.
Marianne: Now, try to have fun with your new friends, okay?
Debbie: She's making FRIENDS?! Give me that! [takes the phone] Hi. Here's what's going on with my life: Donnie's now half goat, my hair is half terrier, and we're heading into the abyss, where there is no hope of teen interaction. Goodbye. [hangs up the phone, cut to Nigel and Marianne tied up by the phone cord after Debbie was walking around them]
    Marianne: [stammering] Debbie!
  • Grandmumsy Cordelia and Grandpa Ratcliff report to Debbie that Eliza escaped from boarding school. Debbie's response?
Debbie: Excuse me? Uh, did you just say THE MONKEY GOT TO GO TO LONDON?!
    • It's especially funny since Debbie has been wanting to go to London herself. At least anywhere that's not in the wild.
  • "Excuse me while I go find a container for my joy."
  • When Debbie runs into a Mbuti community, who send Boko as her guide. While Debbie tries to tell Boko he can't come, Boko notices a large snake approaching her, and fights it, while Debbie, utterly oblivious, babbles on and on as Boko continues fighting the snake, then tosses it aside.
  • This gem as Nigel and Marianne leave Debbie with Donnie.
    • This gets an epic Call-Back when Eliza sneaks back into the comvee right as Debbie is on the phone to their parents. She tries to cover up that she was reacting to..
Debbie: Some really cute bush babies.
    Nigel: That's called sarcasm, dearest.
  • Debbie's reaction when Eliza explains her powers to her after losing them to save her—at first, we're led to think that she doesn't believe her, only for Debbie to reveal that she suspected it all along and then demand that Eliza relay a message to Darwin.
    • Also, the reaction Debbie has when Eliza gets her powers back.
Debbie: (Flipping through a fashion magazine) I don't know how I'm going to keep this secret of yours.
Eliza: Well, you have to. I kind of agreed to a condition when I got my powers back.
Debbie: (Not looking up from her magazine) Uh-huh?
Eliza: You can never tell anyone my secret because if you do...
    Debbie: Yeah?
Eliza: You'll turn into a baboon. (Runs away)
    Debbie: (Beat) A BABOON?!!
Nigel: (to the camera as Marianne films him among a troop of baboons) The peacefulness of this congregation belies the true nature of—
Debbie: I AM NOT GOING TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH A BIG PURPLE BUTT!!!!
