• In the first chapter, Luke's younger brother Albert comes racing into the room whining that he broke his toy lightsaber. Luke proceeds to tell him that that's what he gets for dueling Vader with Chinese merchandise, then informs him that the problem is that he has a screw loose... in his head.
• When Snakekit calls his sister Redkit a "dickface", she responds in kind.
• Snakekit says that "le wild Redkit derped in." He then realizes that the reader doesn't like people using "le," "herp," and "derp," and proceeds to fill an entire chapter with only those words.
• Snakepaw acts disrespectfully in all of the StarClan dream sequences, calling Raggedstar "Raggy" and referring to Sagewhisker as "that white she-cat." Later, he refers to Nighstar as a "black tom" and notes that he isn't sure of his identity, although he can't think of any other black ShadowClan toms. He then realizes how racist this sounds and hastily attempts to amend this.
• One scene is dedicated to Snakepaw deciding to Rage Against the Author. As per the fic's general irreverence, this is done in a highly absurdist fashion:
  • Snakepaw gets sick of the author starting three sentences with the phrase "all three cats" and ending them with "judging by the expressions on their faces" in short succession. His solution is to jump out of the computer and attack the author for "daring to downgrade his style for humor."
  • While the author is preoccupied with fighting off the protagonist of his own fanfic, a "calm, automated feminine voice" repeating "Please excuse this interruption. The main character is having technical difficulties." is interspersed with descriptions of what's happening in VolcanicPizza and Snakepaw's battle against each other.
  • VolcanicPizza fends off Snakepaw with a metal baseball bat he keeps in his room "for security reasons" that involve a potential Zombie Apocalypse.
  • Snakepaw forgot to bring his gun to the fight, but has been supplied with waffles by "the gods of MLG". Said waffles prove to be useless because VolcanicPizza is implied to have eaten them.
    Waffles will not help in this situation, though. This is because the author is in the middle of a growth spurt and needs as much nourishment as he can get.
  • After Snakepaw gets shoved back in the computer and returned to the fanfic proper, the narration comments about the author's "lack of creativity" bleeding over into whatever just happened.
• Once Snakepaw reenters the narrative, VolcanicPizza decides to start interjecting his own commentary, represented by boldface text. Snakepaw is annoyed about the author inserting himself into the fic and disrupting the story mechanics he initially established.
  Snakepaw: And it's all just for the lolz because he thinks people will laugh at it!
