• The bees manage to cause not one, but two helicopters to crash. Bonus points for the scene preceding the second crash, when the copter's pilot, in full Dull Surprise mode, utters "Oh, my God! Bees! Bees! Millions of Bees!" They also cause both a train crash and the destruction of a nuclear power plant.
• Baker and Slater watch Dr. Crane pray after Helena suffers toxic shock from a bee sting:
  Major Baker: Can we really count on a scientist who prays?
  General Slater: I wouldn't count on one who doesn't.
• The scenes where stung victims hallucinate and see Giant Killer Bees hovering over them is — well, you won't easily forget it.
• The lengths which the film goes to make the Africanized bees look like a world-ending threat, like claiming their jaws are strong enough to chew apart plastic, that they're so toxic only three stings will kill an adult man, and making them completely immune to the most powerful pesticides made at the time. In real life they're exactly like any other honeybee aside from their hair-trigger demeanor.
