** Laura Ingram gets referred to as "The first-draft of Megan Kelly" while the guy on Creator/FoxNewsChannel talking about the migrant's alleged plethora of antiquated diseases is referred to as "Steve Bannon's homeless brother".

* Frequent guest Creator/JohnOliver appears on the show to promote the 11th season of ''Series/LastWeekTonight'', and this time he's brought a plus one . That "plus one" being the ''WesternAnimation/SteamboatWillie'' version of Mickey Mouse. Because this version has since entered the public domain, John says that he's legally indestructible as he's baiting Disney to sue him, right down to the poster of his show with the tagline "What are they gonna do, sue?".

* April 19th: Colbert points out that Bernie Sanders has made a lot of good points ... [[IncrediblyLamePun literally]], as demonstrated by his new video game ''Bubble Burst Bernie''.

* Stephen got to interview UsefulNotes/BarackObama in a multi-day segment titled: "A Late Show's Chock-A-Block-A-Barack-obama-Rama Extravagama".
