• From the pilot episode, Woofer and Tweeter have recruited a back-up band for Benita's record: The Mopheads - a trio of musicians with mops for heads. Benita is dumbfounded.
  Benita: Holy humperdink! What a rock group! Where'd you find them, under a rock?
• Courage tells a familiar bad joke involving "Raining Cats & Dogs / Stepping into a poodle" and gets this response....
  Courage: "...Get it? Puddles?....P-p-poodles?...."
  Harmony: "We get it....but we don't want it."
• I.Q.: "Courage! Your Playbug Magazine!"
