  • Prince Marse, the man who was supposed to marry Krystal, is relieved that Sato married her instead. He cheerfully explains that the whole thing sounds like a hassle, so he's happy he doesn't have to deal with it. Sato is gobsmacked.
  • When the castle is attacked, Sato and Krystal come out of the bath, disheveled and breathing heavily. The guards do a double-take.
Guard: So that's what they were up to.
  • The series completely averts Will They or Won't They?; as early as the fourth chapter, Sato and Krystal admit that they are in love, and decide to consummate their marriage. They fail. After they decide Let's Wait a While, it turns out that Alabaster was watching the whole time.
  • In Chapter 28, Amber introduces herself with a heartfelt, joyful declaration of how she's been waiting so long to meet the Ring King, only to realize that she's interrupting an intimate moment between Satou and Hime and sheepishly crawl back into her shrine. They do not get another chance to do it.
  • Chapter 40: The cave is flooded with an aphrodisiac gas, and all the girls go crazy for Satou. Then he sees Amber, who is clearly immune, and is relieved that she can save him. She just gives him a thumbs-up.
    Satou: Oh, come on!
  • In chapter 41, Morion is just flatly confused at how much effort Satou is going into so that he can not have sex with five beautiful women.
Morion: Are you like, not really into girls?
  • Chapter 56: Satou and Hime finally have Their First Time. After a heartfelt discussion, Hime... wants to do it again.
Satou: So... I've been wondering... you're actually pretty horny, huh?
Hime: [blushing] I am? I mean, I kind of figured—
Satou: I mean. Dark Hime was pretty slutty, so...
    Hime: Don't remind me!
  • Chapter 69: Everyone is celebrating their victory over the Abyss King with a feast. Jade comes over to congratulate Satou and suggests that perhaps, now that the war is over, Nefritis will come home to be with her beloved brother. Nef shoots down that idea with a blunt "Ew. No way.", making Jade sink into histrionic despair.
