"Everything we do is like a 5-year-old."
You'd think that the band members would be serious people 24/7 considering the scientific and technological nature behind both the message they want to promote and the narrative behind them... However, there's just enough play to go around to balance with the work.
- The demonstration in Portland, Maine on November 21st, 2021 had a few technical mishaps... The biggest one being that the smoke machines that accompany the stage production trigger the fire alarms, causing the stage to shut down in the middle of "ECHO". It took a while for everything to return to order so the interruption turned into the demonstration's intermission so that the band could change into their space themed garb. Everyone had various reactions to the sudden shutdown including Dustin nonchalantly shrugging and Cory raising his hands like "Excuse me???"
- During the same demonstration, a shorter interruption between "Monster" and "Point of No Return" took place due to another technical mishap.Dustin: I was just informed in my ears that something else broke. This one won't take nearly as long though... Fuck.
