Funny / Sporadic Phantoms

• All of the sponsor segments. All of them. To explain, the premise of the sponsor segments is that they are all heavy Mythology Gags. All of the organizations that sponsor the podcast are from the Animorphs universe, and they are liberally sprinkled with in-jokes.
  • The first episode's sponsor is Dealin' Dan Hawk from book 2, just as shady and inept as in the book.
  • The second's goes on in almost sexual delight and longing, but with the ad reader also stuttering and playing with words the way Ax does. Though they don't reference Cinnabon directly it's clear they're talking about the cinnamon buns at the mall food court.
  • Third episode's sponsor is The Gardens, the zoo/amusement park that features so heavily in the series. It could be a perfectly ordinary advertisement for that venue, except that it hypes up the Z-space 2000, a virtual reality rollercoaster which involves dodging floating masses of flesh and aliens, and then drops the background music and swerves into a moment of discussing the core premise of Animorphs.
    Kid: Whoa, aliens!? Even more awesome!
    VO: And even more awesome when you realize it’s only you, children, who stand any chance at resisting them. The only thing you have to lose is your innocence... humanity, sanity, moral compass, and possibly everyone you know and love.

    Kid: Wait...how is that awesome?
    VO: Because... Z-space! Whatever questions you have, they can probably be answered with: Z-Space... 2000!
• With the end of Season One featuring the Sharing taking over, Season Two sponsors are almost all Sharing-related and darker and meaner in tone.
  • The ad for Royan Island Duckboat Tours starts out fairly normal... before you realize they're using David's infamously terrifying fate for a cheesy halloween attraction.
