Season One
- When Lamb breaks the news to Diana Taverner that the agent she sent to raid Slough House "fell down the stairs." When she asks outright to confirm that he's dead, Lamb replies "It's hard to tell, given his IQ, but yes."
- When the Slough House crew is at their lowest, hiding in a graveyard and being hunted by their own people, it seems like Bad Boss Jackson Lamb is about to make a Rousing Speech, maybe even showing himself to be a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.Lamb: Look. (Sighs) I—I don't normally do these kind of speeches. But this feels like a big moment, and if it all turns to shit, I might not see any of you again. (Beat) You're fucking useless. The lot of you. Working with you has been the lowest point in a disappointing career. Right. Cartwright, you're with me. [The rest of you] try not to get caught for as long as you can. My money's on about 30 minutes.
Season Three
- In "Footprint", River tosses the empty pistol while trying to climb down a ladder (to escape from an ambush). But after seeing a Chieftain contractor, he tosses it down that he hit a contractor who was down there. Said person complained that his thumb's broken after the pistol hit his hand hard.
