- One cookie isn't even a saying, it's just the name of the company that made it.
- After the first few levels, Wang and Hoji's banter is worth the price of admission by itself.Lo Wang: Zilla wants this thing, Enra wants this thing. This sword is, apparently, the hotness.
Hoji: I was into this sword before it was cool.
Lo Wang: You should move to Portland and start a band. - Lo Wang is nowhere near as perverted as his original counterpart. Which makes his moment of walking into a Double Entendre after getting the bombs from the Kyokagami Twins in Chapter 10 incredibly funny. For reference, Lo Wang is talking about a giant fan he needs to get past.Lo Wang: I better turn this off before I get screwed.Hoji: Ohhhhh boy...
- Zilla's company has helpful diagrams of their production line. In addition to a peeling machine there is a note at one stage that "Baby pandas fall here". Oh dear.
- After acquiring the head of a dead scientist to use his retinal scans Hoji starts making bad puns. Wang does not approve.Lo Wang: The only thing worse than a friend who tells bad jokes is a friend who tells bad jokes inside your head.
Hoji: [feigning excitement] Did you just say we were friends? Best fwends??
Lo Wang: If I killed myself, would it kill you too? Please say yes.
Hoji: [flatly] Yes.
Lo Wang: You're lying aren't you?
Hoji: [same tone] Yes. - Even as Hoji lays dying after holding the Nobitsura Kage, he still manages to find ways to be snarky.Hoji: Besides, did you see the look on Enra's face? Like someone took a dump in his corn flakes. I wouldn't trade it.
