A Darker Shade of Magic
- Rhy muttering that if the two of them weren't siblings, they'd make such a good-looking couple.
- When Lila gets her hands on the stone and uses it against Kell, she creates a clone of him that soon begins to perform a strip tease to Kell's horror.
A Gathering of Shadows
- Kell is forced to sneak out with Rhy and because of their bond, he thinks Rhy is getting attacked and hurriedly tries to search for him. Rhy is getting attacked, just not in the way Kell thought. He finds his brother making out with a girl he picked up who's being just a little rough with him. The girl even asks Rhy if Kell was his lover (because of how enraged he looked).
- When the two do return home, the guards hold up a note that Rhy wrote that basically said, "Not kidnapped, don't panic. Going out with Kell, be back later".
- Alucard's exasperation at Lila deciding to purchase another knife.
- Rhy dressing Kell up for the tournament and after getting his disguise together, for the first time Kell actually admires his reflection.Rhy: While I'm sympathetic to your sudden bout of narcissism, this is important, Kell.
- Alucard taking Essa off the ship when they dock in Red London, telling Lila that if he left her alone he was afraid someone would want to steal her for the price she has. Lila asks him what price and Alucard says that Essa carries his heart.
- Alucard talking with Jinnar and asking the other if he kept a list of wind jokes, saying that he's "broken them down into chills, gales, steam..." Jin playfully jabs back.
- Lila looks at Alucard's mask that has scales and asks if he was a fish, since it would fit with his captain persona. Alucard corrects her by saying that it was a dragon, but she continues to call him a fish.
A Conjuring of Light
- Hasta drugging Lila on Tiernes orders so she could rest. Kell suggests that instead of apologizing to her, Hasta better be thinking of an escape route.
- As Kell and Alucard shop, Alucard finds a ring and gives it to Kell.Kell: I'm flattered, but I think you're asking the wrong brother.
- Lila suggests making a bet, to which Alucard and Kell both answer with "No".
- Kell and Lila have an intense make-out session that apparently either threw Alucard overboard, or made water splash on the annoyed captain.Alucard: Stop fucking with the ship.
- Lila gets drunk and beaten in a game of Sanct with Jasta, as well as loosing her boots in a bet. Kell goes to retrieve them for Lila, by exchanging his boots instead.Kell: I simply explained that she couldn't have them- they wouldn't have fit- and then I gave her mine.
- Kell passing Alucard who's become Rhy's official guard standing in front of Rhy's door.Kell: Ass.
Alucard: Bastard. - Rhy thanking Kell for keeping him alive because he could still enjoy life, and for another reason.Rhy: Besides, who doesn't love a man with shadows? Who doesn't want a king with scars?
Kell: Oh, yes. That's really the reason I did it. To make you more appealing.
