• In the beginning, Usagi has been sweet-talking Mamoru and then has her eyes closed and lips puckered waiting for a kiss. Thing is, Mamoru realizes they were being spied on and leaves. So Usagi stands there confused for a minute and then finally opens her eyes. There, just in front of her nose, is a caterpillar.^Videos (Japanese)(Viz Dub) Cue Freak Out courtesy of Chibi-Usa and the girls' practical joke. The music for this opening scene really nails it, all lovey-dovey at first, then building up the tension before coming crashing down in one note.
• Going back to the girls spying on the couple behind a rack of shelves, peeking between flower pots...and bickering mid-eavesdrop. Chibi-Usa complains that Usagi's stealing Mamoru from her, Rei is disgusted she's doing it out in the open like that, Ami keeps complaining they shouldn't be spying (and helping Minako keep Chibi-Usa from giving them away), and Mako counters by wondering why Ami's with them in the first place.
• A few minutes later, the girls are wondering what Mamoru's relationship with Fiore is and Ami accidentally thinks aloud her wonder if Mamoru is actually gay. She's immediately called out on this.
  • In the Viz Dub when they're talking about the above, you can hear one of girls (sounds like Minako) say "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
• As the battle with the energy-stealing flower Glycina is starting, it tries to attack Chibi-Usa, but Usagi rescues her in a Diving Save, crashing through a window into a restaurant. Several minutes later, we find out the impact knocked her out, so Chibi-Usa is trying to wake her up to join the battle, first by trying to tickle her nose (she sneezes in her sleep) and then finally by practically suffocating her (plugging her nostrils with tissues and covering her mouth) It works, waking her up with a very loud gasp, but it takes twenty seconds where the scene sits motionless.
  Chibi-Usa: It's about time you came to!
  Usagi: Are you trying to kill me?! (Blows the tissues out of her nostrils, hitting Chibi-Usa with them)
