• In the NES version, a ball will go through the wall if it hits the foul line. This counts as a home run.
• The later games in the Atari/Tengen series have a Home Run Derby game in which you get trophies for doing well. If you do badly enough, your prize is a lollipop with "SUCKER" on its label.
• In the Genesis games, you can throw a spitball, although you run the risk of the game catching you if you do it too often. The first time this happens, you will get a warning. The second time, your pitcher will be tossed. 4 and '93 have animations of the manager and the umpire arguing during the warning and the ejection. In the latter, the manager kicks dust on the umpire.
• '94's end of game newspaper advertises other Tengen games on the Genesis. One of them is Awesome Possum... Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt. Just the thought that they're pushing a game widely considered to be one of the worst Genesis titles is hilarious.
