Beanball

  • The two older coaches of the Padres and Cardinals aren't so much fighting as grabbing onto each other and admitting they're too old to be throwing fists. In the aftermath, Buck Garland amuses the media with his anecdote:
Buck: It wasn't exactly a fight between me and Lonnie. It was more like a slow dance... although he did try to dip me.
  • Oscar, in desperate need of a Korean translator, tries to ask Elliot if he's Korean without sounding racist.

The Break

  • Ginny and Michael are watching the Home Run Derby before the All-Star Game, Ginny worried as she sees one opposing player after another smash homers out of the park. Michael keeps telling her to relax as "he can't touch you...it's just for show." After one great hit goes out of the park, Michael admits "yeah, he can probably hit you."

Wear It

  • Evelyn's reaction to Ginny telling her about Mike and Amelia's relationship.
    Evelyn: Whaaaat...Blip figured it out.
    • And upon hearing Ginny and Amelia having a related discussion:
Evelyn: I'm gonna... not excuse myself 'cause I want to hear this.
    • And when Ginny mentions it to Blip at the party.
    Blip: Whaaaa—
    Evelyn: She knows we know.

San Francisco

  • Mike has been speaking to Amelia in a hotel:
Amelia: This is my thinking face.
Mike: Your thinking face looks eerily close to your "judgey" face.

Don't Say It

  • A line obviously added in at the last minute when Al consoles Mike on a trade to the Cubs falling through: "After all, the Cubs will never win it."
