• As frightening as their glowing eyes are, the deceased clan members bouncing up and down in the opening looks very silly.
• When Abe No Seimei wants to send you a message about the Festival of All Demons's location, he does it via arrows and hits Kochin directly in the head. She reacts with mild irritation.
• When the princess's bodyguard talks the clan he shows a complete lack of faith in your abilities. Once you start recovering instruments of Festivity it quickly becomes clear the he has a Bodyguard Crush and is jealous of the clan's collective ability to grow stronger after short periods of time.
• In a dungeon you can run faster than Kochin can, and running too fast will cause her to yell at you to wait. In a similar boat, if you flee from combat Kochin will look around, realize you ran, and try to catch up with you.
• While it can be frustrating, some demon leaders will eventually go Screw This, I'm Outta Here, if their side takes too many losses taking all the loot from the battle with them.
• At one point in the game Kochin asks the player whether or not they think it is necessary to make sacrifices for the greater good. Most would assume this is an important choice, but as it turns out she is asking because she was thinking about eating Nueko.
• There is something mildly amusing when Nueko transmigrates and shows up with the same deadpan attitude.
• Usually Kitsuto will tell you backstory about the dungeon you're entering the first time around. When you come across a cat based dungeon, he has no idea what its purpose is or where it came from. He then makes a really lame pun and is instantly angry at himself for it.
• When Abe no Seimei reveals that he is Nueko's son, he calls her mother. Nueko, horrified, asks him what he just said. Kito claims that he said "Mommy! I missed you!" The player can agree with him.
• Most of what Kochin does is either this or heartwarming.
• Due to the nature of dialogue, Kochin can be talking very seriously with dramatic music playing in the background only for it to suddenly switch to being silly while she talks about something entirely unrelated.
• When performing the Rite of Divine Union with him for the first time, Usa no Chachamaru (a rabbit god) will say "Let's hop to it."
• The god Mochinohana's appearance: he's based off of mochi, and kinda looks like a big marshmallow.
• When Abe No Seimei self-destructs in order to show off his Healing Factor in your first battle, it can be a combination of this and confusion.
