Even though things are pretty serious, there is a bit of fun here and there.
Episode 3
- Mike recoils when Joe hands him a bottle with an energy drink, thinking it's alcohol.
- Emma sending a goose to meet up with Mike and Joe.
Episode 5
- The start of Mike's and Jason's dislike for each other: Mike thinks Jason is just a disgruntled employee whose anger issues get in the way of his work, and Jason thinks Mike isn't doing a good job keeping him safe.
Episode 6
- The fact Emma/Aska hid Joe using a truck with the picture of a girl in a bikini, which often distracts onlookers.
Episode 8
- Mike storms out of the room in anger after scolding Emma for hiding her status as a ninja, only to get comically injured by fireworks on the ground that Jason had dropped.
Episode 9
- Jason celebrates the creation of the "team" with Chinese food with rice (saying they're akin to The Mafia), but he gives Mike a smaller ration, which causes another argument between both of them.
Episode 10
- Zai sends one of his crows to Joe to request a duel with him. When Joe points out that he's been told to fight, Jason thinks he's going to fight the crow.
