  • When Eric brings Mr. Magorium some stuff to make him feel more at home during his stay at the hospital. He pulls out a hose (with a nozzle), a wooden plank, and a euphonium. He later claims to have found said euphonium "in a supply closet".
  • Mr. Magorium tries to play fetch with 'Mortimer'. It doesn't work.
    Mr. Magorium: ...Stupid zebra.
    • Naturally, 'Mortimer' is in fact a "toy" Zebra.
  • Dustin Hoffman originated Mr. Magorium's hairdo and voice. According to him, when he first tried the voice out on some of the producers, "they freaked."
  • Every time that Magorium calls for order using a squeaky hammer during the upstairs meeting, including this moment:
    Mr. Magorium: Did no one tell the mutant that this is a magical toy store?
    Mahoney: I tried...
    Mr. Magorium: It's a magical toy store, Mutant. It can do all sorts of things.
  • Mahoney tries to get Mr. Magorium committed to a hospital by claiming that he's delusional, he claims to own a magic toy store and thinks he's 242 years old. Magorium angrily points out that she works there, and that he's 243 years old, she was at the birthday party. The hospital intern agrees he might have had a stroke.
    Mr. Magorium: The only stroke I have ever had is one of genius!
  • A group of kids play with the magic door and enter a room filled with hundreds of bouncy balls. A kid opens a curtain at the back of the room to reveal a giant dodgeball that he pokes and ends up causing to fall off it's pedestal and roll after him. The kid attempts an Indy Escape but gets the door slammed shut on him. When Mr. Magorium then opens the door, the kid is squashed against the ball and jokingly calls it an "Impossible-To-Dodgeball"
