He's been thought to be Little My's crush / boyfriend TWICE in the anime. Of course he'll make that face!

  • In one episode, Sniff gets rewarded for helping fix a roof with pie. He then goes around pestering to help people in hopes of getting food as a reward. He winds up ruining Snufkin's tent and letting Little My babysit the Fillyjonk children because Fillyjonk has gross cooking. All sorts of wacky hijinks ensue.
  • In the "Sand Sculptures" episode Moominpappa makes a sculpture of his top hat. However, not a single person asked for their opinion about it saw it as a hat; Sniff and the Hemulen saw it as a cake. This made Moominpappa quite angry, which in turn did confuse Snufkin.
Moominpappa: Tell what you want, but it is a top hat!
    • Moomin having not much luck either with his own sculpture; he makes Snorkmaiden but the head always breaks off.
    • Sniff, while didn't even get to finish his sand sculpture, remineces his ideas; Moominhouse, a Hattifattener and an apple. Apple is suddenly crushed by Little My and Sniff falls of the couch.
    • Little My trolls Mrs. Fillyjonk about the Groke hearing miles away and might come over there.
Little My: What is that? (Mrs. Fillyjonk's childrens sand sculpture.)
Mrs. Fillyjonk: You'd know, if you knew your art well.
Little My: Tee-hee, its The Groke of course!
Mrs. Fillyjonk: The Groke!? My children wouldn't do a sculpture of that monster!
Little My: Oh uh! I sure hope that the Groke didn't hear that. She'll hear miles away!
      Mrs. Fillyjonk: D-does she?
Little My: She will come right here, raah!
  • In the episode The Witch, Snufkin is snooping around the eponymous witch's house, with the witch standing right behind him, looking around with him. He doesn't even notice her until she speaks up! Also when he tries to defend himself, saying "I wasn't doing anything wrong!" and sounding terrified is chuckle-worthy due to how uncharacteristic it is.
  • Snufkin's suggestion to create more crime in Crooks in Moominvalley is funny on its own, but the way he says it makes it come off like he's been waiting to start up some drama his whole life.
    • Earlier in the episode, Little My proposes Snufkin that they should date! This causes Snufkin to fall off the ledge of the bridge they were sitting on out of shock, resulting in Little My repeating the proposal, much to Snufkin's chagrin.
  • In the episode The Solar Eclipse, after Witch fall off her broom and landed on bushes Stinky decides to take a broom ride. Later, Moomin and others spot him flying near the Moomin house and they have to help him down because the broom refuses to get orders from Stinky. He manages to fly inside from a window and suprise Moominmamma in process.
    • When everybody go to rescue Witch while leaded there by Stinky, Sniff, thanks to a animation bumb, runs with a straight back and never moving his arms.
  • In the episode Tiny Guests Little My digs a hole where the postman happens to fall in. And he then starts to chase her.
    • Thingumy and Bob are terrified of the Inspector when they first see him. And he was only there to meet the Moomins, not to arrest Thingumy and Bob.
  • In the episode Aunt Jane the titular character spends almost the entire episode searching for Moominpappa. Since Moominpappa doesn't want to meet her, he goes into hiding. And when Aunt Jane finally finds him in Snufkin's tent (thanks to Little My deliberately taking her to him), she starts chasing him. The ensuing hilarious chase around tree only stops when Aunt Jane stomps the ground.
    • Earlier there was Jane's flabbergasted reaction when Snufkin said he didn't care about money when he refused to help her.
  • The original Japanese second season opening. The first season was a very soft and elegant little sequence, while the second one combines Hattifatteners and J-pop to create a bizarre anime dance piece.
  • And then there's the expected commercials for Japanese merchandise which add to the equation....
  • Joxter cheerfully announcing "I don't understand signs!" in his introduction.
    • In finnish version he says "I don't believe in bans!", which also fits his character.
