• The July 2020 2.1.6 update of the COMP/CON companion app added a Hor_OS skin to the previously-existing General Massive Systems and Mirrorsmoke Mercenary Company skins. Each one has text that scrolls on the home page alongside the main menu options; while the GMS skin's text resembles a command line interface and the MSMC skin has a simple and professional-looking interface, the Hor_OS text feed instead resembles a BBS chat log — and it is every bit as full of nonsense, meme references, in-jokes, and general silliness as you would expect from a group that's essentially Space Anonymous.
• The IPS-N Kidd (one of the playtest frames due to release in the finished version of No Room For A Wallflower) has, on its first license level, a system called PEBCAC. A rather direct reference to the old tech-support answer of a PEBKAC ("Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair") and is described as causing an ally's mech to "flash reboot from the system level" to clear out various effects of enemy hacking attempts, cascading NHPs, etc. Yes; you are literally fixing their mech by turning it off and back on again.
