Just because it's one of Disney's DarkerAndEdgier works doesn't mean ''Gargoyles'' is immune to the funny.

* In "The New Olympians", Proteus has just tricked Goliath into freeing him, knocked him out with his huge cyclops form, and traded places with him to trick Elisa. After he gets her attention, they both witness Goliath roaring in frustration and trying to break out of Proteus' cell. The newly disguised Proteus queries, "Who's ''that'' guy?" It's just so funny to see "Goliath" speaking so casually, and no doubt Elisa [[OutOfCharacterAlert knew it wasn't really him]] that exact moment.

* There's definitely something funny in how the Archmage, for all the threat he poses, still starts off with a very 10th-century mindset regarding his goals. * It may be CanonDiscontinuity, but "And Justice For All" features Goliath making a {{Dynamic Entry}} into the courtroom where his sentence is about to be given, with the real criminal in tow. His first line afterwards: "Please forgive the dramatic entrance, Your Honor."

* In the middle of an otherwise very serious scene in issue #7 of the 2022 comic, Goliath is asked by Tobe Crest (the attorney representing him in the upcoming trial to determine if he even qualifies as a sentient being) for any potential character witnesses he could bring in to testify on his behalf. Goliath first suggests Halcyon Renard, which gets a vote of approval from Tobe, then hesitantly considers David Xanatos as well...and seems realize as he says it just [[CorruptCorporateExecutive who]] he's suggesting as a ''character'' witness.
