* [[RelationshipValues If you ride with Auron to Macalania Temple]], Tidus comments how he's "no fun to ride with at all", which results in a shocked "What?" from Auron. Auron then tells Tidus not to do anything rash and complicate things, only to then go back on that advice and tell Tidus to make mistakes and make the most of his youth. The end result is a very confused Tidus frustratedly asking "So which is it?"

Everyone is willing to go through with her order...except Tidus, who Kimahri has to hold back from getting his hands on Seymour. The game doesn't actually show it, but it's easy to just picture an image of Tidus being DraggedByTheCollar.

* Tidus asks Yuna why Sin always comes back and she explains about it being punishment for humanity's vanity. He asks what it was people did in the first place, if it has something to do with the machina and if that was really a bad thing. She admits that she never questioned it and now that he asks, she really doesn't know if it's bad or not. He says that they're the same.

* The infamous laughing scene is this in a SoBadItsGood kind of way. Yuna is trying to cheer up Tidus, and invites him to try to smile. Tidus tries, but it's forced and unconvincing. Yuna, playfully, tells him to laugh out loud next. Tidus obliges with what is perhaps the most hilariously forced laughter in existence, prompting ''everyone'' to stare at him incredulously. Yuna, realizing this is a terrible idea and suffering from secondhand embarrassment, suggests that he stop. Tidus ignores her, and it doesn't take long for Yuna to give in and join him. Cue both of them forcefully laughing out loud, before genuinely cracking up. When they're done and realize the rest of the party have been watching them the whole time, Wakka bluntly states that they were concerned Tidus and Yuna may have gone crazy.
* Tidus clowning around on the S.S. Liki with the binoculars; specifically when Tidus first grabs them and all the player sees are the belts on Lulu's skirt. Pan upwards to her chest and Lulu scowls. A moment that's both funny and absolutely adorable is Yuna running to make sure she's still being seen in the binoculars.

* The party arrives in Luca where the announcers are all talking up how great the Luca Goers are and going on about what awful, breathing statistical impossibility of loss the Besaid Aurochs are. The Aurochs just take it as usual, used to it, and then Tidus grabs a megaphone and starts trash-talking, then raises his head and howls laughing. Wakka facepalms and then asks just what the heck he was doing, but the other players note that they really stood out, and even got on the sphere footage.

** Even better, Rikku's pleading lasts so long that the rest of the party are already off-screen and suddenly come running back on-screen during Rikku's last line so Auron can give his final reply. When they're done, Wakka bluntly states that he and the others were concerned Tidus and Yuna may have gone crazy.

* The infamous laughing scene is this in a SoBadItsGood kind of way. Yuna is trying to cheer up Tidus, and invites him to try to smile. Tidus tries, but it is forced and unconvincing. Yuna, playfully, wants him to laugh out loud next. Tidus obliges, leading to the infamous scene, with ''everyone'' looking at him incredulously. Yuna, however, realizes this is a terrible idea and asks him to stop laughing, as she is experiencing secondhand embarrassment. Tidus promptly ignores and continues his insane laugh. Ultimately, Yuna finds the whole thing funny, and decides to join Tidus in his laughing contest. Cue both of them forcefully laughing out loud, before genuinely cracking up. When they are done, Wakka bluntly asks them if they went cuckoo.

* The infamous laughing scene is this in a SoBadItsGood kind of way, especially Yuna's reaction:
-->'''Yuna:''' You...probably shouldn't laugh anymore.

* After beating SuperBoss Dark Ifrit in the PAL version, you're treated to a cutscene in which the SOB who summoned it [[KarmicDeath is eaten by a fiend]]. Although the Dark Valefor one is pretty funny too (Evil Bald Summoner Guy gets pwned by a little girl, and runs away from the angry villagers).

* [[TotalPartyKill When your last character gets KO'd]], they will say something with their dying breath. While most of these are suitably tragic, if you die on Besaid, [[DevelopersForesight Lulu comments]] on how you [[https://youtu.be/x-eiwmJWAJg?t=82 didn't even make it off the island]]. Auron sometimes quips "What a mess," or "Unbelievable," as if he's watching someone else instead. If you die in the Thunder Plains, Rikku blames the lightning.

* One of the skills you can unlock for any character, but starting with Rikku, is Bribe. Simply put, you literally just pay the enemy to give you their drops and leave. It works on every non-boss enemy, which are typically monsters you wouldn't think knew what money was, let alone how much you're giving them, and the animation for a successful bribe is them just turning around and walking away. The kicker is that it works on two specific bosses as well. One is Lord Ochu, who you have to skip to even have Bribe to begin with, but gladly gives you as many remedies as you can pay for if you come back for it and hop off. The second is ''Ultima Weapon''. An aeon that exists as an extension of a man's hatred for Yevon... and you can just pay it somewhere around a million gil to leave you alone.
