In Chapter 5, Natsumi brings Hajime a bento box of food as he's in the hospital with a broken arm and ribs from defending her from Sato. After a little bit, Chiaki comes in, also with a bento box for Hajime. Natsumi asks who Chiaki is and mentions that he's never mentioned her before and Chiaki also says he's never mentioned Natsumi and then questions if he's "a player". Hajime frantically denies this and Chiaki accepts this. But just then, Mahiru comes in. ...With a bento box for Hajime. Cue Stunned Silence from Hajime, Chiaki and Natsumi.
The fact that the Ultimate Gamer asks if Hajime is "a player".
In Chapter 6, during his first training session with Peko, she's about to test him on how many push-ups he can do while standing over him. He glances up at her before they both remember she's wearing a skirt... Hajime lies that he didn't see anything and Peko blushes and moves farther away. Hajime then speculates mentally that maybe thongs make it easier to maneuver in combat...
In Chapter 7, on the plane ride, Natsumi falls asleep and her head rests on Hajime's shoulder. He's fine with this, but then she starts drooling... When she wakes up she looks up and realizes her face is inches from his, blushes and gets angry and punches his arm. Hajime retorts that she's a lot easier to deal with when she's sleeping.
In Chapter 8, while they're at the beach house, Fuyuhiko offers to put sunscreen on a bikini-clad Peko, while he has a Nosebleed. Natsumi shoots him down and the girls put sunscreen on each other and Fuyuhiko and Hajime put it on each other, much to Hajime and Fuyuhiko's disappointment.
In Chapter 10, when trying to think of a friend, after claiming she has friends other than Hajime, Natsumi says Mahiru. Hajime immediately points out that they hate each other. Natsumi claims it's a joke and then mentions she's friends with another girl and then describes an acquaintance, at best, that she bullied or belittled. Hajime then looks like the life was sucked out of him.
Also in Chapter 10, we get to see Natsumi's reaction to Gundham. Naturally, she thinks he's a weirdo and thinks he's on something.
