  • If two characters have a secret lesbian relationship and one of them becomes pregnant, there used to be a chance that their lover might demand to know if the baby is theirs the same way a heterosexual partner might. This was since patched out... unless one of the characters in question is Stupid, in which case they might still ask anyway.
  • An update introduced artifact cheeses, a block of cheese so delicious that eating it drops Stress. The description of doing so is appropriately epic.
    • You can also repair cheese, just as you would an artifact sword or book. The game doesn't explain how this is possible, which is probably for the best.
  • One level of the "romance" scheme demands the ultimate test of love; taking the blame for an incredibly loud fart your beau has at a court dinner.
  • That awkward moment when you are trying to recruit someone into your coven and they're also trying to recruit you into their coven.
  • Since the Royal Court DLC, there's a chance that an assassination target might thwart their assassin by brutally murdering them with an artifact ...including, but not limited to the sponge on a stick, Jesus' loincloth, or their own throne.
  • One Court petition might involve a concerned citizen complaining of rampant violence and murder in the city, and suggest a ban on carrying weapons. There's an opponent who insists people should have the right to arm and defend themselves. You can choose who to back, or, alternatively:
We'll resolve this debate about safety. . . with violence!
    • When the person suggesting the ban on carrying weapons wins, the notification will specify that they 'somehow' won.
  • One courtly event involves your young daughter asking you for a horse. Not just any horse, but a destrier. You can say yes, but that results in a small health penalty for her, as fully grown warhorses aren't the best choice of mount for little girls. It's also made clear that your Master of Horse is responsible for her asking you.
  • The PC can receive many different treatments when they get sick. One of these treatments involves the physician smashing a jar of bees on the floor and letting them sting the PC everywhere. And this can work. Against cancer.
  • One artifact is a gilded rat tail; it has the effects of dropping Prestige but making children like the holder more. Its blurb lampshades the fact that no-one really wants it.
  • A potential Hunt event involves one of the hunters- possibly the sponsor of the whole thing- stopping to look at pretty flowers.
The PC: Get back on your horse!
  • Buffs and debuffs last for months, even if they're from something as small as hearing a duck quack. Apparently the duck was just that uplifting.
