  • If the player has a same-sex relationship and another character tries to blackmail them for a hook with this secret, refusing to be blackmailed counts as this. It's essentially a gay ruler stating that he doesn't care who finds out about him and his lover, and in the event where this secret is revealed, the text says the player character feels no shame and holds their head high despite getting dirty looks and slurs. Similarly, If the player character is bisexual and has an opposite-sex lover at the same time, they may give the player an ultimatum to end one of the relationships. Once again, the player character can choose to say "This is who I am effectively! If you can't accept me than that's your problem."
  • Perfectly executing a plan to wrestle control of land and titles from someone who could crush you in a straight war. Any gambit involving marriages, blackmail, and assassination can make you feel like a delightfully devilish bastard. A weak dynasty can rule an empire with zero bloodshed simply by manipulating the people around them for years or even generations.
  • Fighting off a Crusade targeting your kingdom. A massive alliance of your religious enemy forms a coordinated and well-funded invasion of your land to install a foreign ruler to convert your people. No white peace, no backing down. And your alliance of coreligionists sends them running with their tails between their legs, proving the strength of your faith. Extra points if, while fending off the invaders at home, you can send a contingent of troops to the Crusade leader's home, siege down their capital, and capture them to instantly force a surrender.
