  • You'd think that trying to raise a riot shield against missiles would be a terrible idea. But by this game's logic, you're basically a ghost as projectiles phase through you unless you're vulnerable. So entire barrages of rockets just fly over your head like simply ducking them is the solution to the problem.
  • The ending of Crisis Zone has the STF attempting to take the elevator back up to the surface, but it's broken given that they had to disarm the reactor to prevent the nuclear explosion. One of the squad members points to a flight of stairs, with a sign indicating that it's five kilometers of stairs, the squad reacting appropriately. As they climb they show clear signs of being tired, with at least one of them having to sit down to take a break.
  • After defeating Tiger and Edge, Tiger makes one last attempt on Claude with a grenade. Unfortunately, Edge comes crashing down on top of him and the grenade blows both of them up instead. Whoops!
  • This may vary for some readers, but in Crisis Zone, there's something darkly amusing about the URDA bringing in a M3 Bradley and a Comanche helicopter to the hostile urban occupation of Garland Square. It's as if they're so desperate to fight back against the heroes, they're willing to use such extreme measures just to get rid of them. It's taken to even higher levels in the PS2-exclusive Special Story Mode, when they bring in the high-tech stealth-cloaked mecha A-0940.
