True to the City Hunter series, The Cupid's Perfume is full of funny moments, either the typical raunchy jokes from the original series or the humor brand of "La Bande à Fifi".
- The beginning of the movie, where Ryo is in full pervert mode. Special mention for this exchange:Kaori: You've got a goddamn problem with women!
Ryo: I don't see what you're talking about.
[Kaori opens a closet, that overflows with porn and erotic magazines]
Ryo: Excuse me if I read! - Ryo is the butt of a particularly sadistic prank courtesy of Kaori. She slips a live crab inside of a bubble bath and despite Ryo spotting it in time, he forgets to actually put it far away from his crotch when he taunts Kaori for her "failed" prank. When the crab attacks, Ryo's screams of pain actually cover the loud speakers at full volume.
- This exchange as they learn about the Perfume.
- Poor Mayor Mokkori. The already quite wimpy man is operated on and sedated but then Ryo and Umibozu barge in and fight in the room. He gets punched several times (quite often in the dick), several syringes aimed at the enemy get stuck in him and he ends up getting defenestrated, landing nude on the front window of a car full of nuns. Then one of them snaps a picture."It's for the insurance claim..."
- Poncho's Taking the Bullet for a Heroic Sacrifice goes butt-shaped when he bumps into Skippy and shoves HIM into the path of the bullet, making him look like a massive Jerkass.
