* When Scooby is paired with Fred, he’s given a nice view of Fred’s butt in some tight shorts, much to his dismay. He later encounters the MonsterOfTheWeek, causing him to shriek, look back at Fred’s shorts, and then back at the monster with a relieved smile.

* Fred uses the Sorcerer Snacks to bribe Shaggy and Scooby to do acts of bravery. Velma and Daphne do not see the ethical justification in it.

* After Oopsy the Clown is exposed as Madcap, the cops won't arrest him because they don't see anything illegal with a clown impersonating another clown. Then the previously mentioned cardinal code of clownhood is revealed to be SeriousBusiness as clown cops show up to arrest Oopsy for breaking it. The clown cops mistakenly arrest and then release one of the regular cops and then arrest Oopsy. One of the clown cops tells oopsy he has the right to remain silent should he choose to be tried as a mime.

* Dennis Lutz, one of the heirs to the Lutz fortune, is described as a "cat person." Taken literally: he is dressed as and takes on the personae of a cat. He even attacks the gang's flashlight beams against the wall.
* There is a RunningGag of Velma being forced to carry everybody on her back, which she is not too happy about. Even at the end, nobody will run away from the mansion that is about to ''explode'' unless Velma carries them.

** Later on in the episode, one of Chazz Larkin's employees tries to tell Chazz that he is capable of helping to make the food. He then shows Chazz a horrifyingly created Mount Rushmore made out of cheese. Chazz responds by making a small sculpture of the Cheese Man throwing up into a trash can.

* Shaggy and Scooby discovering the virtual-reality simulator, where Techy explains that they can travel anywhere in the entire universe with the simulator, such as Mars. However, the two insist on being taken to a food truck, which Techy is not happy about.

* Velma loses her collective cool trying to find a correlation between the yeti and the restaurant.

** Even one of the cops chasing them screams it when he’s been duped. His partners asked him why and he replies "just felt right."

* Dwayne, in general, is ludicrously apathetic except at the end where it's revealed he's an extremely smart mystery solver, leading to a lot of funny moments - like Velma ranting at him about her fear of clowns while he does nothing at all, or the characters' increasingly bemused attempts at getting him to react to anything. At one point, Daphne refers to him as "the generation of the future."

* Anytime Shaggy and Scooby pull a BavarianFireDrill to trick the monster and escape. The rest of the gang have pulled this and even one of the villains pulled it on Shaggy and Scooby. What helps sell these is, for whatever reason the "monsters" go along with it for a while.
** By far one of the funniest was in "Renn Scare" where Shaggy and Scooby trick the Jester ghost by acting like it’s an audition for a comedian. They end up breaking his confidence so much he sadly leaves on a bus back home to bemoan the situation and just when he falls asleep does he realize he's been duped.

** The greatest example of this was in Professor Huh? where the eponymous villain actually reversed the trope onto Shaggy and Scooby, causing them to scream the same frustrated roar the monsters do.

* Daphne's Halloween costume? Zombie Velma, because Daphne's dressing up as Velma, if Velma decided to have fun and dress up as a zombie for Halloween. Scooby cites her logic as impeccable.
