- Then we see that the figure who has arranged their refuge is Vox Day, assisted by the Dread Ilk and literal Vile Faceless Minions. With his wife Spacebunny at his side.
- Durand is not scared of the dark!
- Kelvin Nought's debriefing of his abortive mission, where he gives the SPC director matter-of-fact descriptions of the specials' various attributes and actions—wings, fire, that sort of thing. The only aspect that throws the director somewhat is that one of them was armed with a bow.
