Funny / All Creatures Great & Small (2020)

• James gets a chance to witness Tristan hamming up the difficulties of helping a large animal give birth. All James can do is watch with an incredulous look on his face.
• After overhearing a client being rude to Mrs Hall on the phone, Tristan "accidentally" mixes up the salve the man wanted with a sample of infected dung, with instructions to rub it into his pig. (It gets funnier: When Siegfried and Mrs Hall find out about this, their responses are "Quite right. Well done." and "Good boy!" respectively.)
• Helen drafts her dad into playing Father Christmas in the Season 3 special, leading to a grouchy Yorkshireman frightening the kiddies instead of Siegfried's jolly-old-elf routine.
• When Tristan goes off to his RAVC service at the end of the third series' Christmas episode, he goes in for a handshake and is shocked when Siegfried responds with a Bear Hug (which is as heartwarming as it is funny).
  Tristan: [bemused] Oh. Are we huggers now?
  Siegfried: Yes, we bloody well are!
• Tristan might have grown up a lot over the course of three seasons, but he still makes sure that Siegfried remembers how much of a scamp he is by jumping into the train's cargo car instead of buying a ticket—and calling back that he's left Siegfried to take care of Tristan's rather lengthy tab at the Drovers' Arms.
• After enduring a hellish car ride due to Mrs. Beck's cat, James and Helen show up covered in scratches. When Tristan says that he won't be taking advice on how to fix the cat from them, Helen and James share a look.
  James: We're going to watch, aren't we?
  Helen: Oh yeah.
  Mrs. Hall: (smirking) Something bad is about to happen, isn't it?
  • Tristan's ordeal with the crazed, yowling cat is seen through the glazed glass. He too turns up in the next scene with scratches all over his face.
