• Hansel reveals that he never knew his father, and that his mother told him that he was a beat cop. a.k.a. A member of The Police, Sting.
• Hansel's interest in Eastern culture, his yoga, and his sex life make a lot more sense when you find out Sting is his father. Even his slightly higher intelligence than an average male model ties in as he is descended from rock star / Knights of the Chosen One genes.
• How is Mugatu basically the smartest person in the room most of the time? Before he became Mugatu, the fashion designer, he was Jacob Moogburg, a member of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, he was a ROCK STAR (sure he was kicked out before they got famous, but still.), and probably heard the legend of Steve because of it.
• We get a hint Mugatu is behind everything early on, the fashion show Derek and Hansel take part in is themed around turning something unsightly into fashion, just like Derelicte.
